Gwen Ka’awaloa is a USEF ‘S’ Dressage, a ‘R’ DSHB JUDGE, and a USDF Certified Instructor, Training thru Fourth Level. She has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Rider Medals. Gwen is currently employed at Parker Adventist Hospital, as a Critical Care Tech in the Emergency Department after her retirement of 12 years as a Volunteer Fire Fighter with the Elizabeth Fire Department.

At the 2022 USDF Annual Meeting, Gwen was an invited speaker where she spoke on how to handle rider related accidents. Her presentation was widely acclaimed and summarized in the January issue of the USDF Connection Magazine.
